ASSOCIATION OF AGE, SEX, AND COMORBIDITIES WITH LENGTH OF STAY AND OUTCOMES IN MODERATE COVID-19 PATIENTS AT ARIFIN ACHMAD REGIONAL GENERAL HOSPITAL OF RIAU PROVINCE IN 2021

SARS-COV-2 is known to be the most responsible for COVID-19 disease, if infected with this virus various clinical symptoms can be caused, which can then be classified into mild, moderate, severe, and critical degrees. This study aims to explore the association between age, gender, and comorbid diseases with a length of stay and patient outcomes with moderate degrees of COVID-19 at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province, in 2021. This study is a retrospective analytic study with a cross-sectional design. A total of 247 medical records of inpatients who were confirmed to have moderate COVID-19 in 2021 were used in this study. The data were then analyzed according to the data type with the Chi-square test, Fisher, and the Kolmogorov Smirnov test. Based on the number of samples, the general characteristics of the patients were 75 patients (30.4%) in the age range of 31-45 years, 131 (53%) patients were female, the most common comorbid was hypertension (23.1%) followed by Diabetes (15.8%) and malignancy (5.3%). 197 patients (79.8%) were treated
