Analisis Kebutuhan Kolam Pelabuhan Untuk Aktivitas Kapal Perikanan Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Bungus Provinsi Sumatera Barat
ABSTRACT
The size of the fishery harbor will affect the number of ships that will dock. The purpose of this research is to find out the size of the needs of the fishery harbor and find out the depth of the fishery harbor needed for the smooth running of activities at PPS Bungus. Data retrieval is carried out directly in the field, to see the maximum number of ships anchored, the area of the fishery harbor (m2), the depth of the fishery harbor (m), data on the width, length and depth of the largest ship (m), maximum ebb in the fishery harbor (m) , and squat or height of the moving ship (m). The results of the study concluded that the existing fishery harbor is no longer able to accommodate all the ships that are anchored. The current fishery harbor area is 40,000 m2 with a total of 348 ships, requiring a fishery harbor area of 458,762.06 m2. The average pool depth currently reaches 2.75 m, and it is safe for ships to anchor in the fishery harbor.
