Sintesis Karbon Aktif Berbasis Pelepah Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Gueneensis Jacq.) Melalui Aktivasi Koh-Irradiasi Microwave : Efek Daya Irradiasi
SUMMARY
Palm fronds (PS) biomass have been extensively studied as a precursor to activated carbon with a wide choice of chemical and physical activation methods. This research aimed to study the characters of activated carbon obtained from the physical activation process below the effect of microwave irradiation power to oil palm frond biomass. Activated carbon was synthesized by the carbonization of PS in the muffle furnace at a temperature of 600 oC for 60 minutes to obtain palm frond charcoal (APS).
