SUMMARY
Laccase is an extracellular enzyme that functions to catalyze the solving of lignin process. One of the advantages of using laccase is that it does not require H2O2 for substrate oxidation so that it is more eco friendly. The laccase enzyme used in this study is a crude enzyme extract obtained from the fungus Trichoderma asperellum LBKURCC1. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of adding metal ions (Cu2+, Mg2+, Zn2+) and organic solvents (acetonitrile, acetone, ethanol and methanol) on the activity of laccase enzyme with multiple concentration variations.
