Pemberian Abu Janjang Kelapa Sawit Dan Pupuk Tsp Untuk Tanaman Terung (Solanum Melongena L.)
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to increase the production of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) with the application of oil palm ash and TSP fertilizer. The research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University. This research was conducted during four months from February to May 2022. This research was conducted experimentally in the form of a 4 x 2 factorial using a randomized complete block design (CRD). The first factor was palm kernel ash consisting of 4 levels (2 g per plant, 4 g per plant, 6 g per plant, and 8 g per plant). The second factor is TSP fertilizer which consists of 2 levels (1.5 g per plant and 3 g per plant). The observations were plant height, stem diameter, number of branches, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit length, fruit diemeter, and fruit weight per plant. The results showed that the interaction of palm kernel ash at a dose of 8 g per plant and TSP fertilizer at a dose of 3 g per plant was the best treatment in increasing eggplant production because it affected the parameters of the number of fruits per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter, and fruit weight per plant.
