Keanekaragaman Vegetasi Di Hutan Larangan Adat Ghimbo Potai
ABSTRACT
The Ghimbo Potai Customary Prohibited Forest is a conservation area with a land area of 70 ha in KotoTibun Village, Kampar District, Riau Province. The Ghimbo Potai Forest has a high level of biodiversity. This makes the forest a potential place to grow flora. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of vegetation in the Ghimbo Potai Customary Prohibition Forest. The method used is the survey method. Determination of plots by purposive sampling with a plot size 20x20 m for observing trees. The results of this study foud 25 species from 12 families with a total of 73 individuals. The highest importance value index for each transect was Cinnamomum parthenoxylon with a value of 44,15%. The diversity index values obtained in this study are included in the medium category with a value of 1≤H’
