Faktor – Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kinerja Usaha Mikro Kecil Dan Menengah (Umkm) Di Provinsi Riau Pada Masa Pandemi (Covid-19)

Micro, small and medium business operators must improve their
performance in running their business. Performance or performance is a picture
of the level of achievement of the implementation of a program of activities or
policies in realizing the goals, objectives, vision and mission of the organization
as outlined through the strategic planning of an organization. And performance is
a periodic determination of the operational effectiveness of the organization,
parts of the organization and its employees based on predetermined goals,
standards and criteria. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the
performance of micro, small and medium enterprises in Riau Province during the
Covid-19 pandemic, where the factors tested included Entrepreneurial
Orientation, Innovation, Market Orientation, Sustainability, Technology, Human
Resources Aspects, Financial aspect.
Withdrawal of the population and samples used using purposive sampling
in an MSME community in Riau, namely the Pekanbaru BUMN BUMN UMKM
organizing association, which has filled in as many as 118 samples. In this study
data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques in this study used
the SPSS.25 application.
The results of the study show that Entrepreneurial Orientation influences
the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, because a wellmanaged
entrepreneurial orientation can make entrepreneurs proactive and good
at making decisions (risk). Entrepreneurial orientation is a factor that plays an
important role in determining the level of improvement in company performance.
The test results that have no effect consist of innovation that has no effect
on MSME performance, market orientation that has no effect on MSME
performance, sustainability that has no effect on MSME performance, technology
that has no influence on MSME performance, human resources that have no
influence on the performance of MSMEs, as well as financial aspects that have no
influence on the performance of MSMEs during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
