Prospek Pengembangan Usaha Ikan Lele Dumbo (Clarias Gariepinus) Dengan Sistem Kolam Terpal Di Kabupaten Tanah Datar Provinsi Sumatera Barat
Abstract
This research was conducted in August 2022 in Tanjung Emas Sub District and Rambatan Sub District. This study aims to calculate the income from the cultivation of Dumbo Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) with a tarpaulin pond system was conducted by cultivators so far, analyze the financial feasibility of the Dumbo Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) business with a tarpaulin pond system and analyze the prospects for developing the Dumbo Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) business with a tarpaulin pool system. The research method used is the survey method. The types and sources of data needed in this study are primary data and secondary data. Respondents in this study were 18 people were taken out of 50% of the population in Tanjung Emas and Rambatan Sub District with tarpaulin pool sizes of 4x4 m and 4x6 m. The results showed that the size of the cultivator pond consisted of 4x4 m in size, total investment IDR10.478.889, the revenue received IDR13,186,000, the income received IDR5,854.032/period, PPC (1.79), R/C (1.80), BEP production (46,35 Kg), BEP sales (IDR873.841,67), BEP price (IDR10.555), ROI (56%). As for the 4x6 m tarpaulin pool, the total investment is IDR14,348.000, the revenue received is IDR17,575,000, the income received is IDR6,858.476/period, PPC (2.09), R/C (1.64), BEP production (57,38 Kg), BEP sales (IDR1,080.423,81), BEP price (IDR11.583), ROI (48%). Based on the calculation results of the feasibility analysis, the Dumbo catfish farming business is feasible to be developed.
