ABSTRACT
Fashion or clothing is a form of reflection of a person's lifestyle, starting from social status, economy, culture, and beliefs. Fashion is a sub-sector of the creative economy that has the potential to become a master plan for the development of the creative economy. This can be seen from the rapid development in the field of fashion, both nationally, including in the city of Pekanbaru. The Riau Provincial Government has set plans to develop the creative economy sub-sector in five sectors, one of which is fashion as an effort to boost regional income. The design of the Pekanbaru fashion hub is a container or facility as a center for activities related with fashion. The design of the Pekanbaru fashion hub as a means of accommodating information, commercial, promotional, exhibition and recreational activities by take into consideration the needs of building users based on the gender classification of fashion users. The design approach answers space based on gender needs according to the principles of feminism architecture. Feminism architecture as a design approach is not only the user as a subject, but how the needs of each different gender can be properly accommodated, resulting in a humanist design
