Pengaruh Media Tanam Dan Pupuk Kandang Ayam Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Jahe Merah (Zingiber Officinale Var. Rubrum)

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the influence of planting media and chicken manure on the growth and yield of red ginger plants and get the best combination and find out the factors of planting media and manure factors on the growth and yield of red ginger plants on the growth of red ginger plants. The study was conducted in the form of an experiment with a factorial complete randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 treatment factors. Factor I is in the form of planting media (Z), which consists of 3 levels, namely: Z1: top soil, Z2: top soil + sand (1: 1) and Z3: top soil + burnt husk (1: 1). Factor II is chicken manure (F), which consists of 4 levels, namely: F1: 0 t.ha-1, F2: 5 t.ha-1, F3: 10 t.ha-1 and F4: 15 t.ha-1. this experiment consists of 12 treatment combinations with 3 repeats resulting in 36 experimental units. Each experimental unit consists of 2 red ginger plants, so the number of plants used is 72 plants, and all plants are sampled. The parameters observed are plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, number of tillers, rhizome length, fresh weight of rhizome and dry weight of rhizome.
