ABSTRACT
Planting media factor in nursery needs to be considered because it affects the success of the nursery. The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University. This research is a factorial experiment consisting of 2 factors, namely: First factor: Treatment of TKKS compost consists of 4 levels: K0 : Without TKKS Compost Fertilizer, K1: 30 g.seed-1, K2: 60 g.seed-1, K3: 90 g.seedling-1. Second factor: NPK Fertilizer Treatment consists of 4 levels: P0 : Without Pearl NPK Fertilizer, P₁ : 1 g.seed-1, P₂ : 2 g.seed-1, P₃: 3 g.seedling-1. In each replication there are 2 plants and have a total of 3 replications. So that the total sampling unit of cocoa plants is 96 units. The parameters are plant height increase, stem diameter increase, number of leaves increase, plant wet weight and plant dry weight. The data obtained were analyzed using the variance analysis test (ANOVA) method and to determine differences in treatment means were analyzed using the Duncan multiple range test (DNMRT) at a real level of 5%. The results showed that different levels of treatment caused differences in the results of cocoa plant research. The results showed that the interaction of TKKS compost and Mutiara NPK fertilizer tended to affect all cocoa plant parameters.
