Analisis Tingkat Pengetahuan Siswa Tentang Dongeng Tupai Dan Ikan Gabus Di Kelas IV SD Negeri 189 Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine students knowledge and ability to understand and
take messages from garde IV students about the fairy tale of the squirrel and the
fish cork. This research was conductes on 45 students of SD Negeri 189
Pekanbaru. The categories of student knowledge reviewed in this study were very
good, good, sufficient, lacking and failed categories. The instrument used to
collect data is a test instrument consisting of 10 objective questions and 5 essay
questions which are divided into 3 indicator. Data analysis used descriptive
quantitative method. The results of this study indicate that the knowledge of
students of SD Negeri 189 Pekanbaru about the fairy tale of Squirrel and fish
cork, namely the know indicator is included in the moderate category with an
average score of clas A 61 and class B average 62,4, analysis indicators include
into the poor category with an average value of class A 52 and class B 55,2 and
the indicator of understanding is included in the poor category with an average
value of class A 54 and class B 58,8.
