Pengaruh Penguasaan Tata Bahasa Bahasa Jepang Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Karangan Mahasiswa Angkatan 2020 Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Fkip Universitas Riau
To be able to communicate properly and correctly in Japanese, students
must master four aspects of language skills, namely listening skills, speaking
skills, reading skills, and writing skills. These four aspects are mutually
sustainable with one another.
Learning grammar in Japanese has an important role in learning to write
essays, because in learning grammar the material studied is vocabulary, sentence
structure,kanji, verbs, and nouns needed when writing essays.
This study discusses the influence of mastery of grammar on students'
writing abilities. The purpose of this research is to explain the influence of
mastery of grammar on the ability to write essays. This study uses a quantitative
approach. The research sample was 2020 batch students of the Japanese Language
Education Study Program, totaling 27 people. The sampling technique used is
saturated sample technique.
The research instruments used to collect data were grammar mastery tests
and essay writing ability tests. Research data is processed statistically with the
help of IBM SPSS 24.0. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical
analysis techniques, correlation analysis techniques Pearson and regression
analysis techniques. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the grammar
mastery of the students of Batch 2020 Japanese Language Education Study
Program FKIP, University of Riau is in the moderate category, the ability to write
essays for these students is also in the medium category and has a positive and
significant influence on grammar mastery and the ability to write essays for batch
students 2020 Japanese Language Education Study Program FKIP University of
Riau by 29.5 percent.
