Partisipasi Pokdarwis (Kelompok Sadar Wisata) Dalam Pengembangan Objek Wisata Alam Mangrove Di Bandar Bakau Dumai

Abstract
This research conducted in January 2023 at a mangrove tourism in Jalan Laut Fishermen, Pangkalan Sesai Village, West Dumai District, Dumai City. This study aims to determine the participation of the Bandar Bakau Dumai Pokdarwis in developing mangrove natural tourism objects, and to determine the driving and inhibiting factors of the Bandar Bakau Pokdarwis in carrying out development at the Bandar Bakau Dumai tourist attraction. This study uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. Informants consisted of 5 people who were taken by purposive sampling. The results showed that the participation of Pokdarwis in Bandar Bakau in the development of natural mangrove tourism objects in Bandar Bakau Dumai had 3 forms of participation, namely participation of ideas/ideas, participation of personnel and participation of skills. Pokdarwis' participation is in the form of ideas such as creating the Bakau batik pattern where the pattern used carries the mangrove theme. Pokdarwis participation is in the form of labor, Pokdarwis provides or produces traditional food. Pokdarwis Bandar Bakau in participation in the form of skills such as promoting tourism and business activities in the natural tourism object of Bandar Bakau.
