Keanekaragaman Jenis Mangrove Di Kawasan Desa Api-Api, Kecamatan Bandar Laksamana, Kabupaten Bengkalis

ABSTRACT
Mangroves are very productive forests, have high diversity and has an important role in the ecosystem. This study aims to identify and analyze the diversity of mangrove species in Api-Api Village, Bengkalis Regency. The method used is survey method. Determination of the plots by purposive sampling with a plot size of 10 m x 10 m for trees and 5 m x 5 m for sapling. The research results found eight families consisting of 13 species. The species diversity index values obtained were 1.53 in the medium category of tree strata and 1.7 in the medium category of sapling diversity. The highest importance value index for tree and sapling strata was Rhizophora apiculata with respective values of 144.397% and 96.068%. The dominance index of tree and sapling strata is included in the moderate category, with values of 0.517 and 0.248.
