Regenerasi Mangrove Di Desa Api-Api, Kecamatan Bandar Laksamana, Kabupaten Bengkalis

ABSTRACT
Mangroves are an important ecosystem in Api-Api Village which is located in the coastal area. The existence of mangroves apart from being a potential resource for the community is also a counterweight to coastal ecosystems. This study aims to analyze mangrove regeneration in Api-Api Village, Bandar Laksamana District, Bengkalis Regency. This study used a purposive sampling method by maked plots according to the density of the seedlings at the study site measuring 2x2 m2. This study resulted an inverted "J" shape of the growth rate of mangrove seedlings, saplings and trees. The highest regeneration status was the moderate category of Rhizophora apiculata. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the mangrove regeneration in Api-Api Village is classified as normal.
