Persepsi Mahasiswa Angkatan 2021 Terhadap Extensive Reading Pada Mata Kuliah Tadoku 3
Acquisition of a second language is someone who directly learns the
language after the mother tongue. In second language acquisition, input is an
important basic component in the learning process. The learner is not only given
input, but he must understand the input. With the word understanding, it means
that the learner focuses on the meaning of the message read from the target
language, and not on the form of the message or the target language (Krashen,
1982). In learning a foreign language such as Japanese, there are several skills that
must be mastered, namely reading. Reading is a receptive aspect skill that is
receiving and absorbing (input). Receptive skills are a way to increase input in
language learning.
