Pengembangan Alat Peraga Fluida Dinamis Berbasis Projek Menggunakan Arduino Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Dan Kreativitas Belajar Siswa
Physics is a branch of science which in its learning process focuses on direct
experience through experimental activities. Understanding the basic concepts of
physics is the most important capital and requirement to be able to solve problems
regarding natural phenomena. Physics learning directs students to be able to
discover and prove concepts and theories that have been learned through
experimental activities. One form of achieving learning objectives is the use of
varied, innovative, and interactive media and learning models, namely Projectbased
Dynamic Fluid Teaching Tools using Arduino. This study aims to develop
learning media for fluid dynamic teaching aids that are valid, practical and
effective to be used as high school physics learning media which can improve
students' understanding of concepts and learning creativity. The developed
learning media consists of dynamic fluid teaching aids and a guidebook developed
as a teaching aid user guide. The development of this dynamic fluid teaching aid
was carried out at the ERC (Engineering Robotic Club) secretariat and at the
Physics Education Laboratory at the University of Riau and this research was
conducted at MAN 3 Pekanbaru City. The research design used was a quasiexperimental
pretest-posttest and the development model used in this study was
the 4D development model with the stages of defining, designing, developing and
disseminating. This research was carried out in several stages, namely validity
testing, practicality testing, and effectiveness testing of the dynamic fluid teaching
aids that have been developed. The development of a dynamic fluid trainer using a
multi-sensor flowmeter based on Arduino UNO has been successfully developed
and has an accuracy rate of 72.5% and is categorized as having a good level of
accuracy. Dynamic fluid visual aids and guidebooks for the use of teaching aids
were also declared valid based on the assessment of media experts, material
experts and pedagogic experts from each aspect of the assessment obtaining an
average value of ≥ 3.00 and declared practical based on the assessment of teachers
and students from each aspects of the assessment obtained an average value of ≥
3.00 and were effectively used as learning media based on an increase in
understanding of concepts and student learning creativity respectively 9.1% and
55.4% after using dynamic fluid teaching aids in the learning process, especially
in material dynamic fluid.
