Social adjustment is the ability that a person has in adapting himself to the environment around him, both to other people and to social groups. Individuals who are able to adjust well socially will be able to build good social relations in the school environment. But on the contrary, individuals with low social adjustment will experience obstacles in getting along with other people, have difficulty communicating with others, are less able to cooperate, and are less sensitive to their social environment. Therefore it is important for every student to be able to adjust socially in the school environment. This study is entitled The Effect of Group Counseling Services Using Role Playing Techniques on Students' Social Adjustment. The purpose of this study was to find out how much influence group counseling services using role playing techniques have on

students' social adjustment. This research is an experimental research with
Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects in this study were 15 students who
had low social adjustment. The research data were tested using the Spearman and
Wilcoxon Rank tests. The results of the calculation of group counseling services using
role playing techniques have an effect of 65% in increasing students' social adjustment,
so it can be concluded that group counseling services using role playing techniques
have an effect on increasing students' social adjustment.
