Keanekaragaman Pisang (Musa Spp.) Berdasarkan Karakter Morfologi Dan Analisis Hubungan Kekerabatannya Di Kecamatan Sungai Sembilan, Kota Dumai, Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACT
Banana is member of the Musa genus of the Musaceae family that is widely cultivated in Indonesia, one of which is in Sungai Sembilan District, Dumai City. This study aims to inventory and identify banana diversity based on morphological characters. This research was conducted in October-December 2022. Sampling was done by exploration method. Morphological characters were described, then scored, and analyzed using NTSys pc 2.02. The data obtained were presented in the form of tables, figures, dendrograms and analyzed descriptively. The results of the study found 13 cuultivars, eight cultivars from the species of Musa acuminata Colla, three cultivars from the species of Musa paradisiaca L. and two cultivars from the species of Musa paradisiaca x balbisiana. There are variations in the morphological characteristics of habits, colour of pseudostem, shape of leaf blade base, petiole canal, male bud shape, bunch position, and ovary shape. Based on 69 morphological characters, a dendrogram was produced and divided into two main groups. The similarity coefficient ranged from 0.17 to 0.57.
