ABSTRACT
This research aims to examine the influence of organizational commitment, leadership style, and understanding of good governance on auditor performance with independence as a moderation variable (empirical study at the Riau Provincial Inspectorate Office).
The population used in this study is the Riau Provincial Inspectorate Office located in Pekanbaru. Samples are determined using saturated samples. The type of data used is primary data, which is obtained from the respondent's answer to the answers distributed to auditors who work at the Riau Provincial Inspectorate Office. Data analysis techniques are carried out with Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis with the Structural Equation Model (SEM) model using SmartPLS software.
The results show that organizational commitment, leadership style, and understanding of good government governance have a significant effect on auditor performance. As well as independence as a moderation variable that can strengthen the influence of organizational commitment, leadership style, and understanding of good government governance on auditor performance.
