ABSTRACT
Bunda Catering is located in the Pekanbaru area, specifically at Jalan Perumahan Merpati Block N15, Sialang Sakti Village, Tenayan Raya District. Bunda Catering is a catering sales business that has been operating since 2021. The business has already had many transactions with consumers, but until now, the process of conveying information and ordering from Bunda Catering is still mainly done by word of mouth and through phone calls, which limits its reach compared to the current internet media.The purpose of this final project is to build a web-based online food ordering application that makes information dissemination fast, accurate, has a broad reach, and allows ordering food online. This ordering application system consists of applications for customers and admin. The main view for customers consists of: Home, Profile, Contact, Catering Menu, About and Payment Information, Login and Registration. The ordering view for customers consists of Menu Category, Catering Menu, Shopping Cart, Favorite Menu, and Latest Menu. Meanwhile, the view for the admin consists of data processing, main menu, transactions, and reports. Payment transactions are done in cash or by transfer.Data collection is done through observation and interviews with modeling using UML (Unified Model Language). The catering information system built is web-based and uses HTML and programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL to manage the database, bootstrap as the CSS framework, and codeigniter as the PHP framework. With the development of this Web-Based Catering Information System application, customers can easily obtain information about Bunda Catering and order food anytime and anywhere, which can increase the number of customers and have an impact on the profit increase of Bunda Catering.
