Kinerja Pengelola Dana Bos Di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

School Operational Assistance (BOS) is a policy related to the budget
which is determined by the government. This policy aims to improve accessibility
and quality by helping to pay for education. The education problem could not be
resolved with this policy, but it added new problems, namely the occurrence of
fraud and the ineffectiveness of the managed BOS funds. Phenomenon problems
found in the field, for example the disbursed BOS funds were not as expected or
too late. The understanding of BOS fund managers is still minimal, apart from
that there are also several other obstacles.
The purpose of this study was to explain and analyze the performance of
employees in managing BOS funds in Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency and
to identify and analyze the factors that support and hinder the effectiveness of
BOS fund management in Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency. This research
was carried out using a qualitative descriptive method or approach. Data
collection techniques carried out by interview, observation, and documentation
techniques. This study determines research informants who serve as sources of
information in obtaining the necessary data. Informants in research are
individuals who understand research problems in depth. Informants in this study
amounted to 10 people.
The results of this study explain that the BOS Fund Manager for Junior
High Schools in Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency, has carried out its
performance well. The quantity of work obtained is good even though there are
some obstacles encountered in the field. apart from reporting, committees and
accountability notifications to the public are still lacking. Timeliness in
completing the work of managers and BOS is on time.
