IMPLEMENTATION OF AGRICULTURE-BASED PROGRAM “STRIP POVERTY – PROSPEROUS SOCIETY” (BEKERJA) IN NAGARI TANJUNG BETUNG, PASAMAN REGENCY

ABSTRACT
This research’s background is affected by incapability of some families in fulfill food needs that become the primary needs. The effort to escape from the poverty is still become a problem because of the distribution of aid to the society is not optimal yet, lack of socialization to society about program ”Strip Poverty – Prosperous Society (Bekerja)”, lack of supervision to the running program, and lack of participation and awareness of society to program of “Bekerja”. This research is aimed to know how the implementation and obstacle of Agriculture-based program ”Strip Poverty Prosperous Society (Bekerja)” in Nagari Tanjung Betung, Pasaman Regency. Method used in this research is Descriptive Qualitative. Place of the research is in Nagari Tanjung Betung in Pasaman Regency. The result shows that the implementation of Agriculture-based Program ”Strip Poverty – Prosperous Society (Bekerja)” does not run well yet because of the inequality of aid distribution and lack of Agriculture-based Program ”Strip Poverty – Prosperous Society (Bekerja)” in Nagari Tanjung Betung, Pasaman Regency.
