Abstract
Introduction: E-health literacy has positive anda negative impacts. The positive impact and well-developed e-health literacy can be considered as guardians of mental health, especially stress. Meanwhile, the negative impact is that the activity of seeking health information can lead to an individual’s tendency to be self-diagnosed which can have an impact on behavior, namely it can make individuals always worried or trigger anxiety and even stress. Purpose: This study aims to determinet he relationship between e-health literacy and level sof psychosocial stress in adolescents. Method: Research This study used a descriptive correlation design and a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 276 students SMA who were taken based on inclusion criteria using a stratified random sampling technique. The analysis used in this study was the chi-square test. Results: The results showed that there were 261 with a good e-health literacy level (94 .6%), as many as 101 respondents had a moderate level of psychosocial stress (36.6%) based ons tatistical tests showing no relationship between e-health literacy and psychosocial stress levels in adolescents with a p value (0.950) > alpha (0.05) Conclusion: There is no relationship between e-health literacy and psychosocial stress levels in adolescents. Based on the results obtained, it is recommended for future researchers to intervence in adolescents who experience moderate to severe psychosocial stress.
