Dampak Kebijakan Anti-Resettlement Australia Terhadap Pengungsi Asing Asal Afghanistan Di Pekanbaru 2022

ABSTRACT
The Anti-Resettlement Policy has an impact on foreign refugees from Afghanistan in Pekanbaru. This research was conducted to find out why Australia broke the resettlement of refugees in Indonesia and issued an Anti-Resettlement policy in July 2014 during the reign of Tony Abbott, as well as the attitude of foreign refugees from Afghanistan after the Anti-Resettlement policy in Pekanbaru. The research methodology was carried out by going through the library, observing refugees, and conducting interviews with 3 refugees living in the NEVADA boarding house, Pekanbaru city. As a result of this policy it has had an impact on their resettlement which is hampered, education is not suitable, it is difficult to get a job, it is difficult to continue to the marriage level, and it has an impact on the mental/psychological impact of refugees, especially refugees from Afghanistan in Pekanbaru.
