Persepsi Wisatawan Terhadap Kuliner Khas Pantai Selat Baru Kecamatan Bantan Kabupaten Bengkalis
Abstract This research was carried out from March 2023 to completion, in Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency. The method used in this study is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The selection of respondents as the research sample was carried out using the accidental sampling method, and the number of respondents was 40 people. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of tourists, analyze tourist perceptions of culinary specialties, and analyze the relationship between tourist characteristics and tourist perceptions at Selat Baru Beach. The results of the study are the characteristics of tourists who come to Selat Baru Beach, namely the average age is adult, already has a job, most of them have recent education as undergraduates with an income of 3 to 4 million, and are also tourists who come not far from Selat Baru Beach or some the community around Bengkalis City. Tourist perceptions of the typical culinary of the new Straits coast got a score of 2351, which is in the fairly good category and the relationship between the two variables is very weak.
