Strategi Guru Dalam Melaksanakan Pembelajaran Pada Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Tunagrahita Di SLB Mardhatillah Duri
The formulation of the problem in this research is what is the teacher's strategy for implementing learning for children with special needs and intellectual disabilities at SLB Mardhatillah Duri? This research aims to describe and analyze teachers' strategies in implementing learning for children with special needs and intellectual disabilities at SLB Mardhatillah Duri. This research has 3 sub-focuses, namely 1) Materials, 2) Methods, 3) LearningMedia.
This research is a type of qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. This research was carried out at SLB Mardhatillah Duri involving 4 (four) informants as research subjects. Data collection techniques in this research are document techniques, observation and interviews. Meanwhile, analysis in research includes data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and triangulation.
Based on data analysis and discussion, this research can be concluded that the Mardhatillah SLB learning media needs to be improved in order to achieve educational goals effectively and efficiently. This can be seen from materials, methods, learning media. Materials/materials have been made as well as possible. The Mardhatillah Duri SLB teacher's strategy needs to be improved in learning materials and media. Where in the sub-focus of learning materials/materials and media there is a mismatch, which results in the achievement of goals being hindered and hampered. Next, SLB teacher Mardhatillah Duri's strategy for play a more important role in enlivening the atmosphere in carrying out learning for mentally retarded children to achieve learning goals effectively.

Teachers at SLB Mardhatillah are problems and challenges in the implementation of education at SLB Mardhatillah Duri, including the inadequate availability of facilities and infrastructure such as buildings that are not yet fully operational, teachers' rooms that do not yet exist, UKS rooms that are inadequate, skills rooms that are still far from ideal, library space does not meet standards, the number of teaching staff is not sufficient with a linear educational background, especially for teachers with intellectual disabilities.
Once this research is carried out, it is hoped that it will provide benefits. The benefits of this research are divided into two, namely theoretical benefits and practical benefits. Theoretical Benefits of the results of this research are that it is hoped that the results can be part of the initial step or reference for studying and finding solutions to existing problems, namely teacher strategies in implementing learning for children with special needs who are mentally retarded. It is hoped that the practical benefits of this research will be useful for school principals, teachers, parents and future researchers.
