Pengaruh Peran Ganda Ibu Sebagai Pekerja Buruh Sawit Terhadap Disiplin Belajar Anak Di Desa Segati Kecamatan Langgam Pelalawan

This research aims to (1) determine and analyze the level of learning discipline of children in Segati Village, Langgam Pelalawan Distric; (2) determine and analyze the level of mother’s role in shaping children’s learning discipline in Segati Village, Langgam Pelalawan Distric; and (3) find out and analyze how significant the influence of the wife’s dual role as a palm oil worker has on children’s learning discipline in Segati Village, Langgam Pelalawan District.
This type of research is quantitative, ex-post facto, namely atype of research where the independent variable is an event that has already occurred, then traces backwards to find out the factors that could have caused the event. The population in this study were elementary school children whose mothers had a dual role as palm oil workers in Segati Village, Langgam Pelalawan District, totaling 105 children. So the sample in this study was 83 children in Segati Village, Langgam Pelalawan District witg an error rate 5% using the Slovin Formula. Then, instrument testing will be carried out on 30 elementary school children whose mothers play a dual role as palm oil workers in Segati Village, Langgam Pelalawan District.
The data collection method in this research uses: (1) documentation; (2) observation; and (3) questionnaire. The research instrument consists of two forms of questionnaires consisting of: 1) Childrens’s Learning Discipline; 2) The dual Role of the Wife. The research instrument goes through several stages, namely: 1) reviewing all theories related to the variables to be studied; 2) compiling indicators for each variable; 3) constructing the grid; 4) compiling statement items and establishing a measurement scale; 5) instrument testing; and 6) analysis of question

items by testing the validity and reliability of each statement item. The data analysis techniques used in this research are derscriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis.
Based on the analysis of demographic factors of respondents regarding children’s learning discipline in Segati Village, Langgam Pelalawan District, quite hight results were obtained, namely with a mean of 3.59 or 71.8%, this proves that demographic factors (school origin and gender) can determine high and low levels of children’s learning discipline. Then, analyzing the demographic factors of demographic factors of respondents in the dual role of mothers as palm oil workers obtained moderate results namely with a mean of 3.29 or 65.8%, this proves that demographic factors (school origin and gende) can determine the level of the mother’s role. Which plays a dual role in forming children’s learning discipline.
It was found that there was a significant influence between the variable of the mother’s dual role as a palm oil worker (X) on children’s learning discipline (Y) in Segati Village, Langgam Pelalawan District, with a large influence of 32.9% with a low interpretation, because there was still 67.1% determined by other factors and are not part of this research.
