Pengaruh Konseling Kelompok Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Komunikasi Dengan Teknik Assertive Training Pada Siswa Kelas IX Di SMPN 42 Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling through assertive training techniques to improve students' communication skills. Research conducted at SMPN 42 Pekanbaru This research is a type of quantitative research using a quasi-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design model. The research subjects were selected by purposive sampling. Samples were taken of 7 students who had low communication skill categories based on scale measurements who would receive group counseling service treatment through assertive training, data collection methods were carried out by questionnaires, data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis and the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of research data analysis, it can be seen that the significance value is 0.018
