Padanan Shuujoshi Yo Dan Ne Pada Subtitle Bahasa Indonesia Dalam Serial Televisi Animasi Ore, Tsushima
ABSTRACT
The study aimed to describe the functions and equivalents of the shuujoshi yo and ne in the Ore, Tsushima animated television series. The study was a descriptive qualitative study using a descriptive method and conducting library and note-taking techniques. The data source was taken from the Ore, Tsushima animated television series episode. The results of the study can be concluded that there are 22 shuujoshi yo and 14 shuujoshi ne in the form of dialogue or narrative sentences in the Ore, Tsushima animated television series. The functions of the shuujoshi yo found are ‘to convey something that the listener is not aware of or does not know’, ‘to supplement the speaker’s own uncertain knowledge with the listener’s information’, ‘to deny the difference of opinion between the speaker and the listener’, and ‘sentences of demand which contain orders, prohibitions, requests and invitations’. Meanwhile, shuujoshi ne functions as a form of ‘asking for certainty/confirmation’, ‘asking for agreement’, ‘giving comments about things that belong to the listener’s domain’, ‘perfecting the speaker’s opinion based on additional information from the listener’, ‘softening the sentence demanding/requesting to the listener’. Then the Indonesian equivalents of shuujoshi yo and ne in the animation are ‘lah, kok, dong, sih, deh, kan and ya’, but there are also equivalents that are not shown as Indonesian illocutionary particles.
