Strategi Belajar Mandiri Hiragana Pada Mahasiswa Angkatan 2022 Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Di Universitas Riau

ABSTRAC
Japanese has several types of latters, namely hiragana, katakana and kanji. The first letter that must be mastered is the hiragana letter, because this letter is widely used in writing native Japanese and is also widely used in learning Japanese. Hiragana writing is different from the Indonesian alphabet, so students need the right learning strategy to master hiragana letters well.
This study is a descriptive quantitative study which aims to find out what startegies are most often usd by students of the class of 2022 of the Japanese language education study program at Riau University when studying hiragana letters. This study used data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire totaling 26 statements which were distributed to the entire class of 2022, totaling 38 students. The data obtained will be analyzed using Microsoft Excel and will then be presented and described.
The study of this research show that the strategies most frequently used by students of the class of 2022 of the Japanese Language Education Study Program are experiential strategies with an average of 4.5, visual strategies 4.2, and frequency strategies 4.1. It is hoped that this study can help students who are studying hiragana letters and need learning strategies. And it is also hoped that it can help future researchers to study Bourke's learning strategies and also Japanese letters.
