Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Brain Based Learning Berbantuan Wordwall Game Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Pada Materi Alat Optik
ABSTRACT
Physics can be combined as a tool to develop thinking skills that are useful in solving everyday problems and equip learners with knowledge, understanding and various skills. Improving students' physics learning outcomes will always be influenced by how teachers teach and provide innovation in learning. The purpose of this research is to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of students by applying the Wordwall-assisted Brain Based Learning learning model to class XI high school physics optical instrument material. This type of research is a quasi experiment with a nonequivalent posttest only control group design. The population of this study was all students of class XI MS SMAN Plus Riau Province, namely 118 people, with a research sample of class XI MS 1 as an experimental class and class XI MS 4 as a control class. The data collection instrument in this study is through daily tests as a test of cognitive learning outcomes on the Optical Tools material, where the data obtained will be analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results of this study showed a difference in cognitive learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class, namely the average cognitive learning outcomes of the experimental class were higher with an average of 81.83 while the control class was 73.1. This shows that the wordwall-assisted BBL learning model can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of grade XI high school students on Optical Tools material.
