Gambaran Kejadian Ketuban Pecah Dini Pada Multipara Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau

Premature rupture of membrane is the rupture of amniotic membranes before labor and one of the causes of mortality in pregnant women in Indonesia. Parity is one of the factors in the occurrence of PROM. High parity in multipara women affects the strength of membranes in holding amniotic fluid, causing amniotic membranes to be more susceptible to rupture. Research objectives were to determine the characteristics of PROM patients which include parity, age, education level, also determine the incidence of PROM multipara patients. The method used is descriptive method with a cross sectional and retrospective approach The results of this research are from 218 multipara data at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province, in 2022, there were 26 people in multipara (46.43%) and 30 people in primipara (53.57%).
