Peran Perawat dalam Pelaksanaan Perawatan Berkelanjutan Pada Pasien Cabg Selama di Rumah Sakit
Introduction: The role of nurses in implementing continuing care in CABG patients plays an essential role in improving patients' quality of life. This study aims to determine the role of nurses in implementing continuing care in CABG patients during hospitalization. Methods: This study used a descriptive research design. The sample of this study was all 37 nurses involved in the CABG team of Arifin Achmad Hospital, who were selected using a total sampling technique. The variable measured in this study is the role of nurses, including caregivers, communicators, educators, client advocates, and counsellors. Data were collected using a questionnaire developed by the researcher that had been tested before use. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis, which presents the percentage of variables measured. Results: The assessment was carried out by 37 nurses with the characteristics of the majority of respondents in the age range of 36-45 years (45.4%) with the majority of women (81.1%), the majority of S1 Nursing Ners education level (56.8%), the majority of chrysanthemum and rose rooms (64.9%), and the majority of work duration ≥ 12 years (64.9%). The results showed that the role of nurses was categorized as good with a reasonable caregiver role (56.8%), a good communicator role (75.5%), a good educator role (67.6%), a good client advocacy role (73%) and a good counsellor role (51.4%). Conclusion: It can be concluded that most nurses have a good role in implementing continuity of care in CABG patients and can reduce the risk of patient rehospitalization and improve health in CABG patients.
