Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Tentang Kanker Serviks Terhadap Self Efficacy Deteksi Dini Kanker Serviks Pada Wanita Usia Subur
Introduction: The level of knowledge about cervical cancer is a factor that can affect the self-efficacy of women of childbearing age for early detection of cervical cancer. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about cervical cancer to the self-efficacy of early detection of cervical cancer in women of childbearing age in the working area of the Umban Sari Health Center.
Method: This study is a quantitative research using a correlational descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample was 97 respondents taken based on inclusion criteria using accidental sampling techniques. The analysis used is the chi-square test analysis. Results: Univariate analysis found that 55.7% of respondents had sufficient knowledge and 62.9% of respondents had low self-efficacy. Chi-square test analysis showed a meaningful relationship between the level of knowledge of cervical cancer on the self-efficacy of early detection of cervical cancer in women of childbearing age with p-values (0.002) < alpha (0.1). Conclusion: The level of knowledge of cervical cancer has a meaningful relationship with the self-efficacy of early detection of cervical cancer in women of childbearing age. Recommendation: It is expected for women of childbearing age to increase confidence to do early detection of cervical cancer.
