This research discusses changes in the government's system of placement and protection of migrant workers. This change aims to maximize the implementation of protection and fulfillment of migrant workers' rights. For this reason, the government is taking concrete steps to progress the placement of Indonesian Migrant Workers one door to Saudi Arabia.
This research is qualitative research. The data collection methods used were interviews and document analysis. The perspective in this research uses a constructivist perspective with the theory of diplomatic protection where every country is obliged to protect its citizens.
This research will show changes in policies regarding the placement and protection of migrant workers to be better than before. The one-stop migrant worker placement system can help maximize the provision of protection to migrant workers. Several programs such as the Desa Migran and the KUR loan scheme by the government are to help prospective migrant workers. although currently the program is still ongoing to protect migrant workers and their families.
