Komunikasi Lingkungan Dalam Pencegahan Abrasi Di Wilayah Pesisir Kecamatan Bantan Kabupaten Bengkalis
The abrasion phenomenon is a particular threat to people living in coastal areas, especially in several villages in Bantan District. Considering that the impact is very large, preventive efforts are needed to minimize the risk of abrasion disasters. This effort cannot be realized if it is only carried out by the government, but the community must also be involved in every abrasion disaster management activity. Most of the soil types on Bengkalis Island are organosol soils, namely soil types that contain a lot of organic matter. The beach on Bengkalis Island is a beach that is very prone to abrasion, because it is directly facing the open ocean.
