Narcotics abuse is one of the problems facing the Indonesian nation today. Narcotics abuse not only has an impact on the user, but also has an impact on weakening national resilience. This condition is even more worrying because the target market for these narcotics dealers is mainly teenagers aged 12 to 21, and more than half of the prisons in Indonesia are currently convicts for drug cases. Currently the prevalence of narcotics abusers in Indonesia tends to continue to increase, especially in 2019, it was estimated at around 1.8% of the population of productive age or around 3.4 million people, then experienced an increase of 1.95% or around 3.6 million people in 2021. This trend shows that Indonesia has become a target market for narcotics producers and dealers. The widespread circulation of narcotics can be seen, among other things, in the existence of villages that are indicated as drug villages. One of them is Kampung Dalam Subdistrict in Pekanbaru.
