Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Generatif Teknik Guided Teaching Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Suhu, Kalor Dan Pemuaian Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuantan Hilir Seberang
The Science learning is learning that emphasizes a high level of understanding of concepts and good skills. Understanding of concepts will increase if there is an application of the right learning model. However, the learning results show that students have a low understanding of concepts. Efforts to improve students' understanding of concepts can be applied through innovative learning, namely the Generative Model of Guided Teaching Techniques. This research was conducted at SMP Negen 2 Kuantan Hihr Seberang with a total of 45 students in class VIII C and Class VII C with the aim of describing the understanding of students' concepts after applying the Generative Learning Model of Guided Teaching Techniques. The type of research used is quasi-experimental using the Two Group Posttest Only research design. The research instrument is a concept understanding test totaling 21 multiple choice questions prepared based on indicators of concept understanding. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential analysis. The results and conclusions of the study indicate that the understanding of concepts in the class that applies the Generative Guided Teaching Technique model compared to the class that applies conventional learning.
