Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Team Game Tournament (TGT) Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI IPA 5 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru Berkemajuan
This research was conducted with several objectives, namely: To determine the initial condition of students' learning motivation before using the team game tournament type cooperative learning model during history learning. To determine the teachers' activities and students' activities after using the team game tournament type cooperative learning model during history learning. To determine the condition of students' learning motivation after using team game tournament type cooperative learning model during history learning. The results of this study showed that students' learning motivation before using the team game tournament type cooperative learning model during history learning with a percentage of 42.01% in the very low category. Teacher activity showed a percentage in cycle I of 75.27% in the good category. And increased in cycle II with an average percentage of 96.42% in the very good category. Student activity in cycle I obtained 73.26% in the good category, increased in cycle II with an average percentage of 87.85% in the very good category. It has reached the predetermined success indicator of 75%. Student learning motivation after using the team game tournament type cooperative learning model in cycle I 53.15% increased in cycle II with a percentage of 86.07%. This means that it can be concluded that student learning motivation has reached the predetermined success indicator of 75%.
