Analisis Hubungan Motivasi Dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Fisika Siswa Smp N 23 Pekanbaru Kelas Vii Pada Pelajaran Suhu Dan Kalor
The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between motivation and cognitive physics learning outcomes of students at SMP N 23 Pekanbaru class VII in temperature and heat lessons. The research method used is a quantitative approach because this research aims to obtain an overview of student learning motivation and student cognitive learning outcomes. Data collection was carried out using the questionnaire method for the learning motivation variable. Data collection for cognitive learning outcome variables is carried out by giving written objective tests. Based on the research results, it shows that the average/mean learning motivation of class VII students at SMP N 23 Pekanbaru is 133.06 and the average/mean learning outcome for class VII students at SMP N 23 Pekanbaru is 60.99. The normality test shows that the normality test value for learning motivation is 0.441 and the normality test for learning outcomes is 0.053. Both variables have a significance value greater than 0.05 at (sig>0.05) and indicate that both variables are declared normal. The linearity test shows that the linear significance value is 0.141 > 0.05, so that the two variables can be declared linear. Hypothesis testing uses Product Moment correlation analysis from Karl Person. The results of the correlation analysis above show that the person correlation value is 0.006
