Pengembangan Sistem Gerak Traveller Dan Swing Excavator Skala Laboratorium Dengan Wireless Control Menggunakan Bluetooth Dan Internet Of Things
Excavators are construction machines comprising an Upperstructure, including a cab, boom, arm, and rotating bucket. The Upperstructure is supported by an undercarriage consisting of tracks or wheels. The Hydraulic and Pneumatic Laboratory of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty at the University of Riau has developed an excavator model using a pneumatic system and a 12V battery controlled by a wired remote control with limited range. This research focuses on enhancing the control system by implementing wireless remote control technology with voice command features. The wireless remote control utilizes Bluetooth and Internet of Things, equipped with a CCTV V380 camera for remote monitoring, making it the first long-distance remote control excavator system at the University of Riau. The excavator's movement is powered by a power window motor with two modes : high speed and low speed. In high-speed mode, it achieves a maximum speed of 0,88 km/h with a torque of 1,90 N.m and power consumption of 70,6 Ws, while low-speed mode reaches 0,68 km/h with a torque of 1,90 N.m and power consumption of 54,2 Ws. The Bluetooth wireless remote control system demonstrates effective performance within a range of 30 meters. The Internet of Things system operates without significant response delays at a distance of 1 km but is dependent on the quality and reliability of the network used. Voice commands are effective within a range of less than 60 cm. The minimum turning radius is 440 mm. On inclined surfaces, the maximum angle reaches 20° in high-speed mode. The swing rotation at a speed of 13,3 rpm requires a voltage of 7,42 V. The wireless remote control system exhibits effective performance and introduces innovative advancements for the future development of excavator control.
