The problem of fiber optic poles in Pekanbaru City is a familiar sight. The proliferation of fiber optic cable installations is due to ineffective licensing according to established regulations. Several residents reported the condition of the fiber optic cable, which was disturbing public safety. Satpol PP, as the enforcer of special regional regulations in the field of public order and community peace, controls fiber optic support poles. This research aims to analyze the control of fiber optic support poles and identify the obstacles to controlling fiber optic support poles in Pekanbaru City. This research uses the Bohari Theory (Viola, 2022) with indicators, namely regular supervision, warnings, and sanctions. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the research show that the PP Satpol's control over the installation of fiber optic cables in Pekanbaru City is still not optimal. This is because there are still many illegal fiber optic cable installations caused by a lack of coordination and compliance by fiber optic support pole operators.
