Deteksi Kebocoran Dan Sumbatan Pada Elbow Pipa Berbasis Sinyal Suara
The piping system is an important feature in the industrial world, because it has an effective and efficient transportation function for shipping liquids and gases. Prevention of damage, whether leaks or blockages, is very important because it can reduce the number of losses both to the economy, the natural environment, and even loss of life. In this research, a method was developed to detect damage to pipe elbows using sound signals. This method can be used because it is very sensitive to discontinuities in pipes which can detect damage at a relatively cheaper cost. This method uses sound impulses emitted through a loudspeaker as excitation and the sound signal response will be recorded using an 8 microphone sensor. Sound signals are given on leakage damage, blockage. The sound signal data will be processed using the Fast Fourier Transform, Wavelet Transform and also polar plot methods.
