Waste and its management remains a major environmental, health, social, and cultural problem that has so far been unresolved. Waste management is a whole range of activities carried out systematically, comprehensively, and continuously including waste reduction and waste management. This research is undermined by various problems of accommodation, including still occurring the accumulation of garbage in the TPS, transportation of waste is not maximum, TPS 3R is not functioning, there is no waste processing activities, as well as no TPA in the Northern district of Nias. The study aims to analyze the waste management of the Northern Nias District Environmental Service. This research is conducted with a type of qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection is done through interviews, observations, and documentation. The study uses Newman Management theory in (Firmansyah & Mahardhika, 2018) with five indicators namely: planning, organization, procurement or resource collection, guidance, and supervision.
