Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Dan Kompetensi Terhadap Komitmen Pegawai Dan Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Meranti
This research was carried out with several objectives to be achieved, namely to find out and analyze the influence of leadership on employee commitment. In this study, the population was 105 non-educational employees. This study used the census method. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data, while the data collection technique used questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study is the data analysis used in this study is sem. From the results of the study, it was found that leadership affects commitment. Leadership within the Meranti Islands District Education and Culture Office has not been good, there is low support and work direction by the leadership.
Basically, employees who are loyal to the institution by obeying the existing rules and doing the work assigned to them. Competence affects commitment. This shows that competence is very important in determining commitment. The commitment of employees of the Meranti Regency Education and Culture Office is currently still not high on average because their involvement in work and the desire to work harder have not been fully shown tangibly, despite having high commitment but lack the initiative to help colleagues in completing work, so there is work that is completed not on time. Leadership affects employee performance. Leadership created jointly by leaders and employees influences commitment. Employees of the Meranti Islands Regency Education and Culture Office currently do not feel support from the leadership for the performance they have done optimally, so there are employees who are unable to complete the targeted work. Competence affects employee performance. The overall competence of employees of the Meranti Islands Regency Education and Culture Office is quite good. This means that the work ability carried out by employees of the Meranti Regency Education and Culture Office which includes aspects of knowledge, skills, and work attitudes is quite in accordance with the standards that have been set, so the better the competence, the performance of employees will increase. Commitment has a significant effect on employee employee performance.
The overall competence of employees of the Meranti Islands Regency Education and Culture Office is quite good. This means that the work ability carried out by employees of the Meranti Regency Education and Culture Office which includes aspects of knowledge, skills, and work attitudes is quite in accordance with the standards that have been set, so the better the competence, the performance of employees will increase. From the research findings, the commitment of employees of the Meranti Islands District Education and Culture Office is still not as expected, this can be seen from their willingness to always be involved in every work that is shown clearly. That is, the better the commitment will improve employee performance. Leadership has a significant effect on employee performance through commitment. The research findings show that employees of the Meranti Islands District Education and Culture Office stil not as expected, this can be seen from their willingness to always be involved in every work that is shown clearly. There are still employees who are not in accordance with their field of work, so they are less able to complete work quickly. This shows good leadership, followed by good commitment will improve employee performance. Competency has a significant effect on employee performance through commitment. Employees at the Meranti Islands District Education and Culture Office already have sufficient competence, even so it can still be improved for the better. Good employee competence should make them always try to immediately complete the work given in accordance with the predetermined time limit. This means that the better the competence and followed by high commitment will improve employee performance.
