This research aims to analyze the values of struggle contained in the story of Tengku Buwang Asmara and their relevance in forming student character in history learning at SMA Negeri 1 Mempura. The research method used is qualitative. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and document analysis. The results of the research show that the values of struggle reflected in the story of Tengku Buwang Asmara, such as fortitude, the spirit of never giving up, and sacrifice, have significant relevance in forming students' character. The implication of this research is the need to apply inspirational stories in history learning to increase students' understanding of human values and form strong characters.
