Pengaruh Leverage Dan Biaya Lingkungan Terhadap Profitabilitas Pada Perusahaan Pertambangan Yang Terdaftar Di Bei Tahun 2017-2021

This research aims to examine the effect of leverage and environmental costs on profitability. The population of this research is mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2017-2021. The research sample was selected using the purposive sampling method. Data was obtained through data from the official website of the Indonesian Stock Exchange and other related websites as well as by studying literature related to research problems in both print and electronic media. The analysis method in this research uses Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) data analysis. The research results show that leverage has a significant negative effect on profitability. Likewise, environmental costs have an influence on profitability.
