This research discusses the Al-Qasimiyahh Islamic Education Foundation, Pelalawan Regency. The aim of this research is to determine the background to the establishment, development, and driving and inhibiting factors for the Al-Qasimiyah Islamic Education Foundation. This research uses a historiographic approach or historical method, namely the heuristic, verification, interpretation and historiographic writing stages. The general result of this research is that it was born from the desires and ideals of an intellectual and religious figure, namely M. Kasim Ahmad, who wanted an educational institution based on Islamic religion to save the next generation of Muslims in Pangkalan Kuras District. His desire intensified when he saw the condition of society which was far from Islamic religious education, the emergence of the issue of a Christianization mission which would take the Pangkalan Kuras District route so that it would facilitate the mission if it was carried out in the future. The development journey of the Al-Qasimiyah Islamic Education Foundation, Pelalawan Regency from 1991-2022 has certainly experienced many developments.
